The Farmer-meter costs significantly more than other Victorinox knife, but the few Euros pay definitely off. The knife is virtually indestructible, extremely stable and, unlike for example the "Hiker" - diameter no red plastic surface, but a shiny, ribbed aluminum casings. The blade is made slightly larger than in other Victorinox diameters and better. The Farmer is particularly suitable for people who want to have rather less features on the knife. I think that knife, bottle opener and saw are the most important anyway. My only slight criticism is that the knife sticking Farmer- not often practical tweezers. Conclusion: strong buy recommendation !!!
