This monitor is a gem! I have previously never spent so much money on a screen, but with the first glance, it was clear that the investment has paid off.
Previously, I was traveling with 2 monitors - a 22-inch Samsung and 27 inch HP Pavilion. Who professionally works on computers a lot, appreciate that luxury. However, power-hungry were both space-saving and also not straight. The Samsung slowly revealed flaws in the color reproduction and the HP monitor bugged me from the beginning, the quite low pixel density - only 86 dpi. So you saw each pixel and thus the display of fonts and icons was not as fine as on the small Samsung next (90 dpi)
This monitor loosely here replaced both and I do not have me craning his neck.
Who often times professional double-sided brochures & Co layouted: Imagine this monitor back and get happy!
The Dell monitor has 100 dpi. Good for a clear typeface and less visible pixels. For this, are just headlines and operator icons natively slightly smaller. If that's too much emphasis on the eyes, which can slightly readjust the display settings from the operating system.
I have the monitor connected via DVI (cable here), the cables are simply more robust and Audio via HDMI I do not need.
+ Absolutely fernsehtauglich, with 30 inches of course also on the usual sofa-distance back
+ Integrated USB Hub (cable supplied). So you no longer have to fish for your mobile phone under the table after the USB charging cable. My webcam I also directly connected to the monitor
+ Quiet. No buzzing noise, no hum. Nothing. But is very warm on the back.
+ Can be in pretty much any properly adjusted and and inclined. Except in the Vertical - resulting in the size makes no sense.
+ XD / SD / MC / MMC card slot on the left side of the monitor. But goes only with connected USB cable
