I have long pushed Jijé because I found his Spirou significantly lower than Franquin; about Jerry Spring and Valhardi at the time of their publication I did not like them. But re-reading them now I have to admit that in fact Jerry Spring goes the distance better than Blueberry (Giraud-Gir-Moebius began as negro for Spring) and SON Valhardi has more humor and fantasy that only Paape had. Quat to Blondin & Shine is all simply amazing, an amazing craziness and originality of the time. I highly recommend the White Negro, Kamilola (as police investigation) Silence on Tourne and Flying Saucers, the latter two reaching cocasserie.Comme tops EO are overpriced, especially Silence on Tourne, this edition should parfaitement.Et Bonus was a Jerry Spring, I know it was published weekly, a very honest scenario with a resourceful girl, which was very rare in comics of the time!
