I thought at the first hearing the album "In the Supervisor" that me "Converting Vegetarians" but liked better by far. But immediately rotates the first track of the same name and flippert such an incredible issue with clear beats, class bass drum, snare, hi-hat - Combos and a haunting down-pitched voice, "I am the supervisor, can I have the taxi number ..." the brain that the following tracks continue as a matter of course, and the transitions of the tracks are a class of its own. Varied is guided through the entire album to the - is the ultimate climax with about 4/5 of Track 8 "Frog machine" achieved - how I feel.
But now continues with the latest works by IM!
Track one slowly rises and a relaxed with sounds of acoustic guitars and are thus the sound patterns of the current album before: Gittarentöne! And like a lot and electric guitar, often outrageously dirty and well in keeping with the beatbox and a rock-metal liges, punchy overall picture sheds - all metal bands in greeting. "I am gonna push it," it sounds as in Ramstein-like styles from the speakers and is already Track Nummero two coming!
Track two brings equal voice pitching the best and shows once as the two musicians understand melodies "atmospheric" map. It's only once in a rich Acid style further, with thick electric guitar sounds, with strings painting and lo and behold a type church organ! And then it happens: We take off and fly away, carried by the ease and audibility that always accomplish the fascination in all the "chaos". How coincide each track here and synergize to create a harmonious work of art shows the class of IM. At the end chilliger vocals and gentle tones ... nothing to say to you ... BAM - Track 3!
Track three is the same with a clear bass drum beat to the point - quick march - glass shatters into shards - deep bassline - dam dum dam, and then the electric guitar (s). Accustomed let the hi-hat beats not long in coming. It is tight and swiftly marched - the groovy organ joins in and the bass beat goes down to the basement, quietly in the background a repetitive voice, barely perceptible - more singing, voice - it builds up, the pace increases, the fanfare follow, it hammers / it pops in breakneck speed and then: sardonic cackle, 'slow' it goes on, the tight march continues, but it is slower perceived because the pace was only just reduced ... listen for yourself on; P giggle end ^^
Track four: Smashing the Opponent chooses a similar pace, a similar march, but the resolute voice sings right from the beginning, and calls on the chorus. Great thing and with a lot of power - again electric guitar, but in between undistorted electric guitar with great sound and staccato synth sounds ...
Track Five: The synthesizer sounds go phil stereo in the next round, accompanied by distorted electric guitar with distorted vocals also from a distance. Clear Beat with laser fire sounds, computer language points us to "Can not Stop", Bass Drum fireworks ... here and there, there is my hand, slight fatigue, go to something Anatolian soundscapes, and, oh - Track to the end!
Track six bears the unusual name "Herbert the Pervert" and goes well with a nice drum intro and the deep-powerful electric guitar to works. And since it is also a chill-psychedelic "Jammer voice" which hints at more psytrance and retracts again at the end of the tracks. Something "Converting Vegetarians" sends his regards, but the great diversity is slow in coming. Nevertheless, a more insistent and more pleasing titles!
Track seven is one of the titles of the album very slowly. Much vocals for "Killing Time" - relax and unwind for Project 100, the next track!
Track eight leaves, guess that it quickly goes ahead - with 9 minutes and 38 seconds and the longest post this CD. Depth hard electric guitars chased by the distorter, but amazingly, but behave slow and smooth with many stereo effects and gimmicks. Asian Guitar (sitar), Gregorian choir deposits and harp sounds and then he will be added, over a resounding, distorted Synthiklang with a great melody - transition in the acoustic guitar, synth chords and echo reverb effects! Enchanting, unique, the sounds tell us about their world, open to interpretation, one sees mandalas and may fantasize that effect gimmick is boundless, you have to go along and even grow beyond itself easily - because it is the song of the album, the all Psytrance joys awakens. End.
Track nine comes right back with tough bass drum. The usual beat, but beautiful GOA overtones because it is pushed up and down like crazy. A little popcorn popping and then needled sounds from the chamber of horrors. Stop and go, abruptly and fluently, now it gets crazy and strange, but true to style harmoniously and with known pearly, jingling IM sounds. Synth sirens announce the style change by 3/5 of the track. It is dark "Ommmmmhhhhhhhhhh" it sounds in several ways; long synth strings and Oriental convict us in a clear, direct bass beat with distorted guitar, stop, then left and right triangles alternates - kind experience with a tonal pleasure. Unfortunately, far too short, just starting and found pleasure in it and comes to an end? Why this?
Track ten: What? At the very beginning is accelerating like crazy, and then glide. Where the journey leads? Unclear ... snare drums, aha. Fine, playful overtones - after all, variety, ahja. Track eleven: sonar whales pitched slightly higher, with beautiful ladies choir in the background! Then Megareverbs and similarly continue with Beatbox. Trance in its purest form. A voice trying to tell himself, does not penetrate. Electric guitar support, voice is clear. Synth strings and then "enjoy your moment" - it was as how we have designed our lives? "It" comes closer ... ... the song accelerates and drives away. Tonal it comes a bit too thin for my taste more and somehow not innovative enough. Since the two can still more. Too bad.
Track twelve: "Riders on the Storm" echoes it and thunderstorms are on us. Lightning and thunder. But unlike the two previous albums, we are not dealing here with a distinct accent. Was the last song otherwise sound calm and normal chilling, a finale flat so there are rather boring song and dahinplänkelnde electro sounds. This is not successful, or even compared to the rest of the album refreshing other end! It is indeed leisurely works and may also support a conclusion, but it stimulates the appetite so not that they wanted to listen to the album again.
By the way: Unfortunately I missed on this CD also good matching female voice of "Converting Vegetarians". Even in "Im the supervisor" there were passages. Here, unfortunately not.
Overall, again a successful work of Infected Mushroom with worth listening to songs like "Sa'eed," the genial haunting industrial sound of "End of the road," the King of the Road and mutmachenden entitled "Smashing the Opponent", the groovy "Can ' t Stop "PingPong, the original" Herbert the Pervert ", the varied Psycho Trip" Project 100 "(Welch melody!), the" Franks "chamber of horrors with hope for fulfillment of desires, and the actually better suitable as the last song" Slowly " ,
Despite the small drawbacks five stars because it simply still no competition for IM. I for one do not see any alternatives, although the two have to be careful not to be ordinary or produces too carelessly.
