For the price you can not really go wrong, I thought to myself, and in various test reports, the device comes (to the cameras that are really pretty lousy) very well off; it is even one of the fastest in its class, thanks to the latest Intel Atom processor.
The screen is very good, with bright colors and contrasts and good viewing angles and the build quality is flawless. The low weight of only 290 grams makes long hold very comfortable.
Everything works beautifully, even when the device is minimal carrier feels as my iPad.
The problem with the self-discharge can I (thankfully) did not confirm! Also no other malfunctions.
Currently, for example, has my device still 66% battery charge - most recently charged I did it about 24 minutes ago and I used it in this time, about 2 hours (!).
******* UPDATE **********
Next day: the device has to last night still 26% battery charge. Last night it had about 10% more, and the final charge is now about 40 hours back. The power saving setting is set not even on maximum, but only in the middle stage.
Use it (not to play, only for normal work) was at this time now for about 3 hours.
******** ******** UPDATE 2
There are now almost 48 hours (2 full days and nights!) Since the last charge and
the battery power is still in the settings with 19%. The device was used in this period as I said only about 3 hours.
******** ******** 3. UPDATE
Even after a week of no particular incidents.
Many apps installed and played around. Runtime on a single charge with moderate use well and like two days and nights. Still very little power consumption in standby, approximately 1% per hour.
Only about 1% battery charge per hour so it is consumed (in the idle state). I find that absolutely acceptable and within the normal range. Of course, such a device also consumes standby energy (how much proportionally, can be seen on Settings-> Battery) and you have to recharge every day with heavy use - but with little use, in my experience only every other day. Android is actually installed in the version 4.42 Bluetooth disabled with me, of course-Fi enabled.
The behavior described in other users may be due to running in the background programs or widgets with high power consumption, otherwise it would be a defect and safely with such an experienced manufacturer no normal case. So that would be (as one reviewer) easily explained "5% battery charge per hour" as self-inflicted. One should even check which apps are still active and, if necessary, terminate unused programs as the first test in the evening. Then you should check the energy saving option and activate the mode "Intelligent Energy Saving", if it has not. The last thing you should check which widgets are installed and to possibly separate from those that deal with wasteful energy.
Conclusion: For the asking price of 129 euros, the device is really a bargain, and who the screen is not too small, can be accessed without hesitation! I admit, given the low price 5 Stars.
