I have now an original and am very impressed - very lit branch design but still with assertive hotspot. Ideal for work in the dark or night walks. At SOS and strobe mode, I could have done without, and the lowest level could be even darker, but otherwise I'm completely satisfied.
The original is the way with 2 18650 batteries lighter than with their three - it doubled the third battery the runtime almost (overall a very well programmed drivers of emergency also comes with a 18650 or by 4 AA batteries cope). Processing very good, nice all sealed with Oringen. The lamp heats up very slowly and has no problem durchzuleuchten the batteries give up completely on full throttle, the one or two hours.
The indicated 3800 lumens of course not achieved, according to measurements but you can expect 1500 to 1800 Lumen which is already really fine. The three Cree LEDs also run fully in the specification and are not having much power "run over" what heat and wear keeps low and has a positive effect on the battery life.
Since the lamp is equipped with several batteries, I would like to point out that this is best protected 18650 same charge status (do not mix!) Should be used and in general of cheap batteries dissuade (fire and explosion hazard). With protected battery's will then, however, a bit tight in the 3 Config in the battery tube - so a little look best on the length.
