Is on pages 7 and 8 of the manual of the Junghans Mega 1000 radio-controlled clock that they aligns automatically to various stations (including in North America and Shanghai). This is not the Case as I could test this on the basis of two works (incl. A first replacement work). Worse, the unsuccessful attempts to receive foreign channels, consumes the battery, so that even with a not too long stay abroad, the clock says nothing due to battery failure. A manual call of the foreign TV channels did not lead to positive results, but loaded the battery even more. The automatic station search can not stop!
I strongly advise against purchasing, if you want to use the clock and abroad. And why should their other properties (second time zone) be useful?
