I honestly do not know what people do with their Galaxy ... my battery lasts in normal use (ie ~ 2 hours listening to music, 2-3 hours. Surfing, now and then a text message, 1 hour per day GPS and ~ 10 min calls) is between 2 and 3 days, which is quite ok for a device of this type.
My device has not yet suspended, has crashed or had other failures (where of course only the device itself is to blame.)
The problems discussed here, so I can not confirm definitively. In my opinion, not the phone, but rather the user is the problem. The open Android operating system allows the user much leeway, which is both its strength and its weakness. So pop the DAU just no rhyme or reason all sorts of apps on his cell phone, most of which is probably programmed miserable, and then surprised about the low battery life. I choose my apps from very critical, etc. of hardwareinstensiven Apps like Battery Widget I'll basically fingers as these in poor programming simply swallow an enormous amount of resources.
Furthermore my AMOLED display like quite good, colors are clear and rich illustrated and the battery consumption is kept within limits. The internal music player like also very good, sound is as it should be ... rich bass and crisp highs (I, however, use headphones from Sony, which included Samsung parts struck me as a little weak) and thanks to the displayed album art looks all nice too out. (At the point a Note: The album art must as .jpg are copied with the exact name "AlbumArt.jpg" in the sub-folders, otherwise they will not appear.) The service I find successful, the display reacts quickly and sensitively to Finger Tippser, the menus are well structured and intuitive. The hardware is also to the whole convey enough liquid ... a bucking or the like so far I could not identify.
In any review here was complaining about the fact that you'd have to re-install each program manually as they are not implemented from the outset. I do not know if I can take the author of this message very seriously, if freedom (!) Is to adapt the mobile phone according to his needs listed as a disadvantage. Consequently, should the author nor use Windows, in which the lords of Microsoft indeed brazenly the freedom remove not already install any program from the outset)
Overall, I can therefore issue a strong buy recommendation, if the needs direction Iphone go, and to handle reasonably intelligent with existing freedom :)
