First good surprise at first with pieces of qualities and desired appearance:
- A slight razor and a pleasant grip,
- A small mower easily and snap-clip (once we have understood the concept very simple really)
- A rigid quality storage bag, convenient for traveling
- And aesthetic basic cleaning and recharging, which can also be used for storage on the (large) edge of your mirror.
However after use, I ask myself a few questions:
- Shaving is nice but is it worth the means-end shavers from Philips? Having tested the two, I would say they are worth. Or at least I do not see a big difference. Eight directions? Honestly, we do not feel the difference. 20% faster? I would like to believe so.
- What is the mower? Would it not be better to take a beard trimmer directly? I would say if the mower is a little gadget here is not very accurate. A precision trimmer we would have preferred not to the beard but for the legs for example.
- The system SmartClean meanwhile seems effective, no complaints on that side. It should be noted nonetheless that does not clean the mower.
To summarize my view, here are some advantages:
- Shaving pleasant
- Correct Autonomy
- Modern Interface
- Easy to use, clear explanations
- Speed control
- Loads with or without the base
But there are still some disadvantages:
- The price / quality ratio
- Mower imprecise
- The somewhat hard keys
I recommend it if you are willing to spend on a quality razor, but do not expect a revolution compared to an average electric shaver range. If you have sensitive skin, it is possible that the latter model suits you best, but personally I do not feel a big difference in the shaving quality.
