I-Empire (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Who has "Do not Need To Whisper We" wanted to hear, which is also at "I-Empire" have been thrilled.

From beginning to end it is about to see an album that never gets boring and only one hangover - "Breathe" - which at the beginning of the album.
Otherwise, a one to 50 min continuous soaring lie ahead.

The album starts directly with two of his best songs, "Call to Arms" and "Everything's Magic". The first two numbers are kept incredibly catchy and tear a total with. Unfortunately, one then falls with "Breathe" in a small hole. I do not I find great against quieter songs, "Lifeline", but one wonders at "Breathe" after only two minutes when the song because now finally over - alas, he goes all the five and a half.
For follow with "Love Like Rockets" and "Sirens" after two above-average, even if not perfect songs.
The highlight of the album reached then with "Secret Crowds" and therein described, eponymous "I-Empire". The sequel to "The War" from "We Do not Need To Whsiper" could still do with a bridge or a 3rd verse at the end, but also as the best song of the album. The chorus guarantees a weeklong catchy after each hearing.
"True Love" is then, after a long intro incl. "Star of Bethlehem" again a little catchigere number while with "Lifeline" begins the fading out of the album. However, this is by no means held lengthy but is repeatedly interrupted by small highlights, such as the main riff of "Jumping Rooftops".
The flight of the beginning of the album is over and you sink slowly out of the clouds returned to the ground, the wind enjoying the springs and suggests a few more times with the wings not to rapidly lose altitude. Or to stay in the more spacey-inspired theme of the band: After starting the rocket and the rapid rise now follows the uncoupling of the booster and you glide slowly through space.
At the end of "Heaven", the tempo increases again, a last gasp, enjoy one last time - until one finally comes up on the floor or dock to the space station.

All in all, "I-Empire" one of the albums I've heard in recent years and the most common is probably still a long time to come.
An absolute buy recommendation.
