Have stake feverishly awaiting for a long time and today it finally happened. Packaging is quality and you can look at, the extras are top. Both artbook as did the rest all of top quality.
The first disappointment: Despite the DVD can install the game to only 45%, the rest will be downloaded via Steam. Can you live with, but need not be. Then you have to register an account with Calypso ... If steam is not enough?
The game itself looks quite plump, loveless characters with no facial expressions, bad synchro, lousy level design. Right away, many textures and walls / buildings can be found through which you can pass easily.
The engine acts immature. Very abrupt movements, boring combat system, despite my high end PC jerky everything regardless of the settings (have the highest, middle and lowest tried). The story is slow to start, want to not say much because I'm only at 4 hours of play.
As DSA connoisseur I have to criticize strongly, as various aspects of Pen & Paper presented completely wrong (for example the priesthood, or the outstanding knowledge of each farmer on the demons, their backgrounds, and similar paraphernalia.
A magician I had to escort the Guard has the blown film by Flam ... Not bad.
The character - and increase system has nothing in common "real" with the. However, since it is always difficult in such reactions, I was already out of it. But what has defuse blacksmith with traps to do ??
Last even to the little adventure which the Collector's Edition came with.
It's nice to read and designed beginner friendly. However, were the first (2) Chapter AP and forget the reward (or am I simply blind).
All in all: For fans disappointing if others buy the game I doubt. It is designed very loveless, graphic corresponds to the PS2, movements have gone extremely in the pants and the game is very limited. In my opinion, not worth the money and if I had the opportunity I would return it or resell. Steamseidank not the point.
