Product OK with gigantic (!!) Restriction

The shelf is very stable, quick to set up and does not require a lot of cardboard drum at around. So purely based on the product's all correctly described and ok.
Now for the big caveat: stench of Geruch..oder rather (is really not an exaggeration)!

The shelf is now for 4 days up in the apartment and the apartment is constantly ventilated. Regal stinks so much that I can not close the window. It is not a slight odor. You walk in to the apartment and would prefer to go right back out. Furthermore, I now get a headache really davon..und I'm not sensitive to such things.

I can anyone recommend this shelf to put somewhere inside. Not even in the basement !!
