Speaking of money: So in the brush I have the impression that will keep them no longer than 1 year. The bristles were already times longer, but the suction is still very good. We had (and still have) our Dyson ProAnimal vacuum cleaner, with the Botvac on tile and laminate (what else have we not) can easily keep up. Behind the door is a low-floor carpet he sucks quite well off, but this can of Dyson even better (the comparison being naturally somewhat lagging ...). And because we are still in money: The battery is not a LiIo battery. So far, I could not detect any drop in the suction power. However, should turn out that the battery (which many suspect) only approximately 1 year holds and the brush also, then you can count on "maintenance cost" of about 100 Euro / year, because the dust filter will have to be replaced sometimes. That is already steep in my opinion (and I would still buy it again ;-)).
As for the navigation: When I see the part the first time driving have, because I had already identified almost with me, that I may him. back chic. We have no Fengshui apartment, where all the rooms are at right angles and which is nothing in it. "Intelligent" So under I understand something else. Sometimes you wonder, what he does again when it leaves the last 10% of gear on your left, goes into the next room, the complete power and then moves into the aisle and makes the final 10% complete - or sometimes even if he has no desire ;-) But that are small things, happens from time to time. Once he has already tumbled the entire basement stairs. I do not know why, but the transition is a shoe rack about 15 cm in the completely clean and right next to it, is the basement stairs. From time to time he goes there on the corner of the shoe rack, pulls back and says he can not navigate, the devil knows why. Well, as always pressed the button, then he goes back further - up to said date, where he is not moving forward, but backwards drove off and he back has no sensors and just standing on the stairs, he was then a but the floor below, and more than one part ... I could patch him up again. Now he drives even better than before! He has never been back to the standing shoe rack :-)
Our bed is not available in the front as high, he reinfährt down - which would be good in itself, because as you get eh not often go. Now and then he runs his firm completely. He wobbles around in a corner and actually no one knows why. If he sucks in the bathroom, he drives also like in the walk-in shower in and then no longer comes out. There is relatively dark with dark tiles and according to instruction can make the problems. I now always place something in front of it, then he does not drive alone. With the dark, shiny tiles in the bathroom, but he has no problem. Basically, I'd also recommend that you go out of his way when he is traveling. It is based, although already new if suddenly what stands in the way, which was not there before, but that already leads frequently to "irritations" in turn. Let go of the best and go for shopping or showers ... These aforementioned points with navigation are also the reason why I forgive only 4 points. This can be everything somehow deal, but it just is a bit disturbing. As for the relief of everyday life, you would have awarded 1000 points - especially with children and animals ;-)
What's a bit stupid especially when animal hair, is the position of the air outlet at the back. If it namely "unfavorable" rotates in the wrong direction, it happened to you, that he blows the animal hair to where it has already sucked.
And what I also observed: It all depends entscheident depends on in which corner you can begin to suck him or where the charging station is when he sets off from there. His routes are then namely highly variable. This leads in some cases even to, I can suck out of one corner of a single charge two stories, whereas an unfavorable corner ensures that it just barely enough for one floor ...
And for pet owners still: The dust container is relatively small. As is often empty hip, but that you do like, because you finally have more time for other things, as vacuuming ;-)
All in all and despite a few minor weaknesses, we would buy it in any case at any time (and the iRobot 380T also)!
