How berreits expressed I knew previously only the biggest hits of the band ABBA and was quickly impressed by the rhythms, although I'm really not outspoken friend of the genre. I have previously comparing some original versions of the songs listened to and have to admit that it is the makers succeeded wonderfully to honor the songs and breathe new life anyway. The songs are sung in person by the actors of the film, mostly with magnificent voices or performances. Among these are, inter alia, Hollywood stars like Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgard and newcomers such as Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper. The soundtrack includes both serene, popig-rapid feel-good songs as Track 1 "Honey, Honey" Track 2 "Money, Money, Money", the most successful track 3 "Mamma Mia" Track 4 "Dancing Queen" Track 7 "Super Trouper" Track 10 "Voulez-Vous" Track 10 "SOS" Track 12 "Does Your Mother Know" and track 16 "Take A Chance On Me" as well as quiet-emotional songs with ballads character as Track 5 "Our Last Summer" Track 13 "Slipping Trough My Fingers" Track 15 "When All Is Said And Done" and Track 17 "I Have A Dream". All convince the audience to sing along and encourage well-being and form a wonderful score for beautiful summer evenings.
Conclusion: As far as the listener the music direction is halfway like the soundtrack to the film a largely successful new musical version of the famous ABBA hits with feel-good guarantee.
