for beginning readers

First the positive:
My daughter is excited about this game. One must first catch the crows (run on the chip, on which he can be heard the loudest) and can then solve magic tasks to help the Wizards.
However, these tasks consist in reading simple words, the puzzle of words from letters, the reading of sentences (20 different). If you have solved the problem, you can keep the card.
The puzzle of words is not easy, not even for me. Reading the sentences is feasible for first-graders in the second half. From the records you have to then however still draw conclusions, so understand the content and then by process of elimination the appropriate wizard to find out (the sets defining characteristics).

But what bothers me about the game: for me it is not so interesting, and I have to play often.
You should have done the single player version more, because if I do not mitspiele, has to have someone find the same distance in learning to read, as my daughter and that's not easy.
Deplores a pin if you play alone, says: ". You're alone today's great that you have you still determined to play." I think that's not resolved so successfully.

Or a proposal to Ravensburger to update the software on the pen: maybe you can change the game so that you can set a different level of difficulty per player (for example, only letters, can already read something, adult players, etc.).

We play it then mostly so that I have to catch the raven for my players and then triggers the reading task for me. So I play "afar off" with, by saying where I suspect the ravens.
