A great machine ... If you work

We were absolutely thrilled Initially, the coffee tasted great and was hot.
What we was just irritated that the machine squeaked horribly.
As a remedy, we were sent by Melitta a new brewing unit to and told us if the problem still have stock, then it was up well on the gearbox and we would have to send in the machine. Shortly afterwards began the real problems (even before shipment), the machine washed only internally and brewed out of coffee. After we had been waiting for a week on the package of Melitta brand and the machine repair "was two weeks, we got them back ...
She squealed still pathetic. When I asked what was for now repaired, I was told that they unfortunately could not find a fault "...
A few days later began also the problem with the non-brewing "and time sinks" again (the third so we could brew group, which was sent to us Melitta, no longer test).
So we have a great Staubfänger-, only we do not get coffee.

My desire, the machine easy to change, as this copy is obviously completely broken, was rejected by Melitta, it is the manufacturers and therefore have the right to "rectify" and was under no obligation to exchange the machine "...
So we will once again be left without machine and do not drink coffee, let's see how long Melitta need this time ... and then if it ever manage to persuade the machine to work.

Conclusion: Those who like to offend, which I would highly recommend this machine ... who would like to drink good coffee, should stay away from this model.

Addendum dated 22.12.2010 = I have found in the reviews of a "different color" Caffeo solo that these problems Melitta has long known ... and yet Melitta is not ready to simply swap the machine, and also unable, To resolve the error (although it already several machines with apparently identical problems were).

Melitta is still great advice on what I had to do because so your machine would work (works but unfortunately not), but refuses still to swap the wreck. The one star here there is only the friendliness of the staff of Melitta, then it I can not fault.
Media Deal falls to the whole situation even a "send the machine to us, we will send them to Melitta". As a customer, I feel betrayed and sold out and only advise everyone:

"Stay away from Melitta in general and of the Caffeo Solo in particular".
