Bugge Wesseltoft Like hardly any other has made earned his Jazzland label to jazz and electronic music scene in Scandinavia. Torun Eriksen is now his most recent discovery. From the appearance a bit ago Beady Belle, another Jazzland act resembling, but less electronically-playful, Eriksen brings along with her band jazz, soul and the traditional variant of R & B. Vocally more at home in jazz, she copes confidently and dynamically also trips to the Gospel corner, and especially keyboardist David Wallumrod proves soul brother and sensitive accompanist. In the booklet she thanked politely with "supervisor" Bugge that he believed in the album, and that is expressed friendly. Wesseltoft will not tire of saying that he keeps Eriksen for one of the biggest talents who have met him in Norway in recent years. In "Glitter Card" so infected also his passion. In fact, it is clear, especially in the jazzy songs like the goosebumps-opener "Outside Inside" that Wesseltoft has the sound of "Glitter Card" left his mark. The sound is airy, with plenty of organic courage to "small" intimate sound spaces without return Eriksens band under the table. Published and highly praised "Glitter Card" of Torun Eriksen, in Norway in 2003, the Jazzland repertoire expanded to include an indigenous in most positive sense facet that is likely to be an event on a hopefully upcoming club tour.
