I did not know this author and I was not disappointed. I like his writing, his way to lead us into its history, its world. It keeps us in suspense until the end. I also read "The Shadow of the Wind" I have eaten in a few days if not hours. Somehow it reminded me of Fred Vargas. I loved it !!!! Good reading to all!
