To now, an ambivalent feeling towards the probably the most anticipated game of all time to feel ...
Why?
Completely independent of Online coercion or login problems, I'm actually from what Blizzard has brought on the way, as well as disappointed excited in equal measure.
What excites me:
- Diablo 3 creates something that has been transposed by no sequel. Namely, the great feat of game mechanics (spec etc.) to change, yet the unique feel that Diablo 2 accounted maintain, if not improve.
Hack & Slay is the magic word here, and that is optimally implemented. In Zockt ... and succumb to the addiction of long forgotten once ... Countless monsters down slice groups and loot, loot and loot again ...
Thus, one can be happy if you still takes pleasure in this kind of game, you will not be disappointed when buying Diablo 3 ...
What got me though but then disappointed:
- In my opinion, the story is truly no comparison to its predecessor ... If the sequences are made brilliant ... you hardly deceive the thin story time. Maybe it's on are older, but I did the poor devil Marius from the 2nd part, which was suffering desperately in his cell at the experiences with the Dark Wanderer, listened with enthusiasm and considered.
In Diablo 3, however, was too predictable and too much really torn socks off me because now no scene ... There is a clear lack depth and somehow plays the sudden death of certain characters not really a major role ...
It's a pity ... but that's probably a matter of taste. Nevertheless, the disappointment, and thus only a total score of 3/5 stars for Game of the Year.
