Important but in this context is always a good processing. This has succeeded in W6. No shaky parts, no burr on the edges, not the plastic still on the metal parts. Here indeed most machines pay at the beginning a precious points. The only drawback for me - the machine 'exhales' in the first days of a chemical smell from what I now just feel like attribute the processed plastic parts.
To many users might seem a bit too heavy for the machine. The W6 is no lightweight. But they remain 'steadfast' when it comes to business faster when sewing - for me the weight pays so from.
Upper and lower threads are inserted quickly. This should be expected of a sewing machine of the modern age also. Unlike other (more expensive) machines threader works exemplary.
When lighting concept has m. E. not thought through. The light is indeed bright and clear, but the bulbs seem not optimally placed. The light casts a drop shadow on the front of the presser foot.
Around 60% of all the programs I have tried so far (with automatic thread tension.) - All give a nice and clear stitch image. The machine has the 'Automatic Tie-off'. Here, the machine locks automatically the beginning and end of a seam, without having to use the reverse function. For me a great feature, which is inexplicably not listed in the product description.
My first conclusion,
PRO:
+ Processing
+ Functionality (eg threader, 'needle-down', punctual Securing program, infinitely variable speed control [there to the turtles function], intuitive operation)
+ Design
+ Quiet
+ Adequate Accessories
CONTRA:
- Weight (but not for each user)
- Lighting concept
- Initial odor
For me, a very good machine at a very fair price - a strong buy recommendation.
