Here is a review of the 2-month daily work with the M3800.
First, you just have to say this performance offered viewed on the form factor achieved otherwise only an apple product (at the same price).
The significant difference is clear but the Dell in the graphics unit (workstation version), the 2 hard disks and of course the operating system.
Who work with AutoCAD / 3ds Max Design There's just for users in this area (15 inches 2kg weight) no real alternative.
So the device is also advertised, certified for all Adobe products / Autodeskprodukte.
And that was so / the device is also used by me, because it's designed for this remit.
The display is a real pleasure, just for photo editing and AutoCAD (228DPI representation) and earned actually 10 stars, really!
There can be no problems Photoshop (many large files are opened), Illustrator, InDesign and AutoCAD simultaneously used without the one subside a notice of speed. This says a lot about the performance.
In Lightroom, about 200 images (16Mp) to TIFF and PSD data in just 15-20 minutes. exported.
The system disk writes about 400MB / s and the backup plate about 70MB / s.
The processing is a 2+ or 1 depending on the viewing angle. This makes the competition but definitely still a tick better.

The display (one of the main reasons for buying this device)
Approximately Four weeks would run everything perfectly, so really 5-star (as the unit's tasks copes very well)
And then the brightness of the display's automatically sets down about 4 levels of brightness.
Should heisen, you do nothing and it will be easy runtergeregelt, then adjusted upwards again and all over again.
On the part of Dell, there was now the third repair attempt without success:
It was replaced the following:
1.Versuch - bios update via Support Staff (no change)
2.Versuch - display has been replaced (no change)
3.Versuch - Motherboard, here's processor and graphics card with it (no change)
4.Versuch - Display No.2 + entire cooling system, as a fan to try 3 mechanically scraped and after this 3.Versuch in normal desktop operation, the fan on max. Power running / running, this was never previously the case (no change)
After this repair attempts the manufacturer goes inzischen the touch panel no longer completely, the main problem display has never even changed only partially, and the fans are running at full capacity when 3 browser windows are open and running may still 1.2 standard programs!
All these actions draw now already more than a month now and it is now as far as a replacement unit already observed (however only in about 3 weeks).
In addition, the computer switches also very happy times from, can not be raised again or locks up completely and then fails to boot.
Now a small excerpt from the course with the tech support (mind you for this device is automatically preserves the boldness to express / ProLite support)
The staff on the phone are very friendly and it was the next day is always the local technician (this always announces itself via telephone for exact keyword appointment time).
After the second spot repair test all supposedly one floor up (in the support hierarchy) where the commitment is to an employee via telephone reporting within 2Tagen.

On the friendly but firm requests via mail, there was by the competent clerk to date, no response!

Conclusion:
If it works the, a very professional unit which leaves nothing to be desired, and every penny is worth it costs!
Since the display is not working properly, work becomes pure spasm.
All repair attempts have led to a Verschlächterung to periodic system failures / crashes.
The Express Support staff are very friendly, act competently.

I'm not a Apfelfanboy or whatever, but a buyer of precisely wanted this device and it also uses exactly for what it is intended. This review should reflect what is able to afford the device and just can occur big problems (so at least for me).
