Well, and what shall I say. PB could wahrsch 3 more titles with the same engine and similar defects bring out of this is the series because of so many hardly aufzulistender aspects just so awesome that I to this techn. Defects whistle! And here also again high official from me (it had already announced in several other comments Rezis: I had been even almost no stuttering, no single hanger or crash and the game runs smoothly with me.
I just try to use key words which potentially undecided or those who are not familiar with the Risen series, these pros convey (Most of the points are valid in principle for all three parts). Some of it is certainly not exclusive but crucial for a gefallendes RPG! (No one has said that there is no other good modern RPG's)
- Super Story with a good sense of humor, sarcasm, cynicism etc ... This is at least for me certainly the main pro-criterion par excellence! In all three parts!
- Many and varied quests in an enormous game world consisting of several sometimes very large islands (which I personally liked a lot as well as the general Caribbean & Pirates Touch (which was scaled back compared to part 2 but is still present)).
- Nice atmosphere (also graphically appealing, it is certainly not the case that the graphics are grottig It's just not a Skyrim or Dragon Age, but good enough to please the eye Nett also very smooth and realistic running time of day change -.> The time of day is certainly also meaningfully used to address some quests.
- Fractions system. One can in the course of the game a 3-4 fractions (mage, natives, etc ... Inquisition connect to benefiting from special abilities)
- Very good, truly innovative advancement system. Man buys new skills at masters for (a bunch ...) Gold once the necessary character attributes you (strength, magic, endurance etc ... are about 8 attributes, whiteness not exactly) the relevant limits have been exceeded, the one turn (flatten enemies, solve puzzles, etc ...) by distributing Glory-points that you get for all sorts can increase. So you are actually getting into financial difficulties except perhaps what the game fun and incentive fosters towards the end of the game, of course!
- The fights are also (not the youngest) people who are not able to process 20,000 information per second at the same time and then to perform a backward somersault with double twist while they strike with his right hand to fend off the left and at the same time to drink a potion and maybe a brew ... well yes, and all against 187 enemies at once, of course;) -> Really, I am with games such as The Witcher 2 was completely overwhelmed with the extremely sophisticated, complex real-time combat system. I admit it: I come from the round fight world and stand for ever with real-time on a war footing. In Risen, it is simply that the number of ways in the fight is still manageable, at least it must be so, because I'm so clear on normal difficulty while I constantly bitten in The Witcher for example the grass very frustrating.
- Open game world enormous freedom when you making! And you walk often in areas that could have been better first of all have shunned because they are inhabited by strong opponents ...
- Refinement and discovery engines to be promoted. Not infrequently are goodies to extremely difficult to access. In this context, extremely witty and innovative features such as the ability is train monkey pointed at the example you learned, train them an ape and then this control to get to certain places that are otherwise inaccessible to the hero.
- Spoiler !: Interesting and especially new in this third part is the thing with the lost soul and the walk in the underworld. So basically you walk, after the end of the tutorial, as soulless around the gathers with his actions soul points or lose - I have to admit at this point that I have not yet fully understood (after about 15-20 hours of play), with what it this soul points but has, I assume that this will not have an impact later in the game.
- Right manageable number opponents are however all to fight differently, depending on their own skills have to adapt!
Conclusion: All the Risen 1 & 2 and liked the game principle not been tired, should be entertained with part three again. Newcomers I would advise in logic perhaps first to Part 1 of the technology lags nunmal not far behind this third part and simply maintains the logical number in favor and then the characters you meet again in Part 2 & 3, stop already knows. ..
