And my friends and I have to say yes it is. Three points, however, there must be observed.
- The layout no longer fits in fact to the base game. Resource fields are designed much nicer in the extension. That has, however, also out fairly quickly.
- Again, it is really just a "blemish". The colors of the ships do not fit well with the colors of the wooden figures. The most extreme example is in blue. The ships are already distinctly darker than the streets and houses.
- The wood variant has unfortunately no frame, just the typical square fields. Enlargement offers only frame parts. The building is thus somewhat more complicated. However, I was offered in my aforementioned demand to send me a framework for free.
My conclusion as wood Player: Sometimes it is not that you buy a newer Pastikversion the base game. Who looks on smaller quirks away, has a nice extension and above all directly many different game scenarios, with the supplied specifications.
