The Canon PowerShot G2 i owned now for over a year. Now I was looking for a small cam which is also Microdrive compatible. The only one I had found what the Canon S45 / S50. That was, however, too large to me. By chance I came across the AZ3EX and was delighted with her immediately. I especially liked the facilities. The Cam basically consists of 2 menus: the basic and the Expertmenu. If you want the Sanyo as point and shoot camera use, the Basicmenu enough. In the Expertmenu has many manual controls. This starts with the ISO sensitivity goes beyond the manual exposure time / aperture size up to the custom white balance. Through the small lens unfortunately comes less light than the G2, so the flash is also a fairly early. This problem, however, have all compact cameras struggle. The image quality is surprisingly good, does not come to the alerdings ran the G2; should not it also. It is so compact that it fits easily everywhere, a bit too hard they may be. The build quality is beyond all doubt, it is quickly ready for use and has a quick zoom. For me, this camera, from which one reads not so much, no alternative to send IXUS 400, it is the better of the two!
