But this successor model (HD710 with USB3.0) is a total throwback and unacceptable.
I have two of these HD710 are here in front of me and one is worse than the other processes.
Processing:
For a "Military Class" device it is ext. HDD kidding.
Bad points:
- In contrast to the SH93 Silicone Case is only plugged and glued tolerably.
Partially missing the adhesive dots completely and also do not fit to the bonding surface.
When SH93 the rubber coating was still an integral part of the hard drive enclosure and was almost inseparable from this.
When everything is just lapprig HD710 to the housing and invites sand, dirt and water almost to a wide to start there and cleaning is apparently not provided.
- The USB3.0 connector is mounted so windy that leverage (up and down) constantly tugging on this (which is conveyed through the rigid USB3.0 cable) and thus expected an early defect in the socket. When the jack SH93 was firmly attached to the housing so that they had the name "Military Class" also earned the SH93.
Even more amazing than the surprisingly poor processing state (opposite the SH93) of the HD710, I think yes,
etc. Although that detail the water tightness is checked in all the tests, videos, but so obvious errors are passed on all testers eyes.
The HD710 is totally unacceptable in this version - especially in relation to the application of the HD710.
Disappointing.
