First of all: when I first played GT 4, I was blown away by the reality of the image, of the many different race tracks, the sound, etc. Everything would enumerate overdid. Therefore, my expectations were very high, as it was said: GT 5 is coming! And maybe that's the crux: Comparing inevitably the new with the old and can not help to say: again a great race simulation, on the other simulations have to match, but also a little disappointment. Disappointment especially on the race tracks that stand 4 world only in some new (Toscana) from the GT - because I expected more. Sure, the graphics are absolutely top - but who would have thought less now? Instead, the menu interface is polished to such that it is confusing. Less would have been more here. The noise in a collision with other vehicles has degenerated into a dull tone that has nothing in common with reality. Even the background music appears to me like an old acquaintance from the GT 4 world. Somehow I constantly ask myself (as my 'pre-Rezensierern') Where please the many years of development have remained? Nevertheless, the graphics are stunning and a bit better than its predecessor. The driving physics seems very close to reality again. From the damage model I did not notice too much after a few hours of play. Again one has to work through his licenses and good racing, so move forward in its kariire. So also here all the same. I own the Collector's Edition and can say that the purchase is not necessarily worth it. The accompanying 'Postcards' would be able to save - there are extra vehicles - the BMW to the Roadster. The weigh the added value not to. Even The included 'driver Book' has nothing to do with the strategy guide, which exists for the GT 4. Here only driving tips are given and the writing is so small that you need a magnifying glass to decipher the letters. Should reappear a game guide, I'll buy myself this certainly additionally. Conclusion: nevertheless I forgive the game 4 stars. Anything else would not do justice to the simulation. However, I draw a star from - see above!
