In looking elsewhere I came across the "GeoGuide Alsace" and although not knowing this collection, I was pleasantly surprised. The organization is well made, with a breakdown into four sub-regions (North + Saverne Bas-Rhin, Strasbourg + South of Lower Rhine, North + Colmar Haut-Rhin, Muhouse + southern Upper Rhine) and then a grouping capital of Canton (or rather city of> 2000 inhabitants) with excellent restaurants and hotels etc.
The interest of this guide is primarily found in the selection of addresses, alternating between the big names but also the most secret places, almost all of the best that I knew were registered there (I'm from Strasbourg and Haut-Rhin). I have then tried a few others and am always very well fallen.
The other advantage is that it is precisely pretty full and it helps prepare his stay (regardless of location in Alsace, not only in Strasbourg) if time is running out.
With information on the history and geography of places, among the few best winemakers in the region are mentioned and other activities to do (discovery of Rieds canoeing, farm inns, village festivals ...)
We also discover tips to plan a romantic getaway or sometimes gourmet, family, outdoors, visit the architectural heritage.
This guide is quite general and complete and that's what makes it great! You will find everything you are looking for it!
For tourists and Alsatians themselves!
