We have two of Cocoon 85 at home in normal use, provided that you can still speak of. Firstly, the displays of both units are no longer functional and show either no or only confused fragments, which is not yet but the worst shortages. The voice quality is catastrophic - lots of noise, crackling, etc., which is not but is on the line, a Siemens DECT phone works perfectly on the same connection. But what ultimately the use of the device is completely excludes the fact that in every conversation by different call duration (than 5 minutes, sometimes only after half an hour), a low whistle appears that within 10 - 20 sec. so loudly is that the Gesrpäch needs to close. After that, the phones have at least half an hour "rest" in order to make calls back to without being immediately "booed".
In short, the Topcom Cocoon 85 is completely unusable after some time in use. Quite apart from the already very meager facilities and poor operability, you should, if you want to be sure to radiation on the move, rather establish a corded phone, than be annoyed with these devices.
