Best of Rockstar Games

After more than 70 hours of play and almost 100% progress, I have decided to publish my impressions to the most expensive and most anticipated video game in history.
Briefly. As far as I was that possible. Please forgive me the use of superlatives but where, if not here, this would be appropriate. I wish you an enjoyable read and look forward every positive and negative note.

We write 2 November 2011. It is at 17 clock and Rockstar Games released the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5, which is also known without the slightest information about the game itself, many after the first viewing certain: Here comes something big us.

If virtually any friend talks to me only about one thing, and even my parents speak to me on a game, then the marketing department must have done something really damn.
GTA 5 pushes every boundary. Both playful and economically. 265 million US dollars (in figures: 265 million) have been invested in this epic, with around half flowed alone in the marketing. Impressive. Not only the most expensive video game production, but also the most expensive media productions ever. Only Pirates of the Caribbean 3 was more expensive with around 300 million US dollars.

After the hype has now subsided to the game with me, and I - though not much - could sleep about what I presented Rockstar here, I'm the one bit disillusioned, impressed on the other. Let's start first with the positives. Who expects GTA, also gets here GTA offered. This may sound funny, but absolutely serious. In times when many developers are trying to reinvent themselves and thereby often fail miserably, Rockstar focuses on the well-tried principle GTA and improve this easily. Who here want something else, I have to disappoint you. My greatest asset is also a small drawback because GTA 5 acts - as the title already suggests it as a best-of-Rockstar Games. GTA 4 + Red Dead Redemption + Max Payne 3 + Midnight Club = GTA 5. It adheres to virtually everything has already been developed in this console generation, here and there to improve a few things and wrapped it in a game. The needs in this repertoire of top notch artists nothing hot bad, and it does not, well, but GTA 5 is missing the certain pep. A little thing that distinguishes the game from the previous GTA parts. In a nutshell: There is no GTA 5 to playful tant additions.

Nevertheless Rockstar does almost everything right. A large game world, which, though after several traverse quite manageable but before details are teeming.
Class main and secondary characters that come together in a story that ... umm ... Vinew Hollywood no better could have written. Although everything stays here on a surprising average level but Rockstar typically get bored for a second. Big surprises yet stay out but.
The setting is excellent both in the (English) synchronization as well as the selected music. What else I could have stayed but also not expected.
The shooting and cover system has been adopted to a large extent of Max Payne 3 and works great even in GTA 5.
The vehicle physics differs from the previous GTA-out parts. A bit arcadiger and much more directly than in the predecessors to draw mainly medium-sized cars. Trucks and larger cars steer accustomed cumbersome and there is nothing to complain about. Fast race cars control to my sensation to be in the Need for Speed-parts very but here you can go the opinion also apart. The aircraft fell to me by all means of transport best. The control is very similar to those of GTA: SA and the Mitsch Wenken the camera makes the air feel almost perfectly. From jet skiing to jet plane, by quad bike to waste transporter was supposed to be for each of the matching pedestal Registered.

Technically GTA 5 is at a very good to excellent level. Although it now and the are one or other frame rates slump and some textures are loaded only when driving past, is to forgive because of the size and the detail of the card at this point everything, since there is neither the game diminishes more common. Solely the really extreme edge flares especially in the city bothers me a bit, pushing the enormous good graphics a bit in the basement. But since I am sure that this is the weak hardware current console and not to the inability rockstars, it's easy to watch with a small smile over it and I hope my game soon on the latest hardware (PC, Next- gen consoles) to view in full detail splendor again. However, a flight through the mountains of Blaine County have all these doubts and technical defects act as disappeared. The landscapes are in GTA 5, especially at night - like a painting and let you marvel at each re-flight. Tip!

With all the possibilities that GTA 5 has (road races, mini-games, shooting galleries, theaters, strip clubs, etc.) I still lack a bit more. Yes, it is fun with friends or darts to play tennis, but the side missions and activities are all done (apart from collecting annoying spaceship parts) in no time. Although the game to start acting monstrous and unbelievable time consuming, but exactly who's looking noticed the frequent repetition. The criticism seems like a bad joke, which I am aware. However, considering the expectations by Promo texts and trailer and compares it to the actual content acts as GTA 5 GTA: SA with a few missing elements (no training for body definition; no fast food restaurants). I do not want to be misunderstood. There is a lot to do and most of it makes absolute whim and can be played more often, but I think that there is still room would have given to potential.

CONCLUSION

I can well understand if some rather negative happens this review. What I wanted to express is solely that this is just another GTA game. Not much more, but less on garkeinen case. Fans of the series will have their fun with this part, I'm sure, and I'm going to spend some time in San Andreas. I've noticed lately that many only in the faith are if it were a game revolution. But that's not the case. There is a consistent improvement of older parts. It's exactly the GTA which the fans have wanted since San Andreas and that is class! Rockstar should only watch and not at some point because at this point they are by no means reached resting on the laurels of yesteryear. They provide here from one of the best titles of this console generation and I can only recommend this game to put in the collection.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Extreme edge flares especially in the city
- Too little traffic and pedestrians on the streets
- Engine noise often have Vacuums character
- Characters differ from each other in a playful little
- Hardly agency during Story
- Story could (still) be longer
