Girl On Fire is Alicia's fifth studio album. Nearly three years we had to wait, but the wait was again, or rather how worthwhile ALWAYS. Alicia is and remains simply the Queen of Soul. Again she wrote all the songs himself, and this is of course also brought great support Bruno Mars, Frank Ocean, Babyface to name a few or even Emeli Sandé- wrote with Alicia three songs on the album together, which made me very happy because in my opinion, a grandiose Küstlerin is. I especially like that the Girl on Fire Inferno Version with Nicky Minaj is on the album, because often the version was played without the radio. My favorites are Brand New Me (goosebumps), When It's All Over, 101 ...
Otherwise, the album is very balanced and varied, there are both faster numbers and ballads available.
My conclusion: Although I have expected nothing but again a great album, but I am happy anyway and will in the coming weeks, nothing else in the car or anywhere else to hear.
