And in this regard, I am 100% satisfied with the device.
The S6200 depends Ethernet cable on the network and is powered by a WD My Cloud 4 TB NAS via DLNA server with data - work quickly and perfectly to 1080p video with bandwidth-intensive DTS-HD sound, where the bit rate does not fly fast times well over 20 Mbit / s.
Here, the individual features compared:
rather positive:
+ Sophisticated look of the case with a high-gloss, pyramid-like surface that reflects more or less depending on the viewing angle strong (very stylish, if you are not touching the very light plastic bombers) :)
+ After switching from standby in less than 5 seconds ready
+ Quiet BD drive with average loading time
+ Clear menu structure in the PlayStation-style
+ Recognize immediately available on the network DLNA server (in my case FritzBox 7490 + WD My Cloud)
+ Plays almost everything from of available audio / video formats
+ Comes with all sound formats clear (DD5.1, DTS-HD, etc.)
+ Apps can be without additional memory expansion load / execute (USB memory only for advanced BD contents required)
+ Apps for almost every conceivable streaming services integrated (Amazon Instant Video and max cathedrals I use itself - is working properly and viewed in (depending on the streaming quality and time of day) very good quality A series of Game of Thrones on Amazon, top picture quality despite limited. Bandwidth (only lit the HD logo, no 1080p) - the integrated scaler of the device makes a very good job so that the picture looked almost like 1080p from the Bluray.
+ Remote control is very handy and strong (they can hold out where you want the player reacts)
+ Compact housing dimensions (smaller than standard hi-fi components, width rather at the level of T-Entertain Media Receiver)
Slightly negative:
- With a few, very high-bandwidth 1080p videos from NAS device hardware player probably its limits and there is stuttering / dropouts
- The only meaning of the TV Side View App - namely the entering text on the Smartphone keyboard - was not working with my Samsung Galaxy S4. The app was super easy to set up and connect to the player, the FB functions via mobile phone display are working properly, but if a text field (email, password registration about) is opened, the screen keyboard will not activate the app with the message "There appears no text entry field" ...
- The high-gloss surface is extremely * * prone to scratches. Tried wipe with a handkerchief fingerprints from unpacking and then immediately had a number of fine micro-scratches on the surface of the device ... * only * Clean with extremely soft and fine towels (about soft Brillenputztücher)
- So beautiful the pyramid surface is also - it prevents the sure places other devices, since it is not planned
Conclusion: For the money, play a low-cost, universal media center that can do far more than just Blurays.
