After testing PowerDirector11 editing software from the same publisher, I attack photo editing with this "ultra PhotoDirector 6" to sounding name. Clearly it is in the largest public software its video cousin, my computer 5 years very tolerant of different image processing operations without noticeable slowdowns. The grip is intuitive as long as you time it looks minimal, only the library management is confused, backup paths, folders created are lost in the meanders a bit from where it is not easy to root out. For the rest, the menus are clear: "settings" for colorimetry, "modification" for touch. The possibilities are powerful and effective: special mention for bluffing clipping ease ... all will use them wisely. We'll have fun with the mod silhouette, color of skin, erasing wrinkles etc ... I regret that the effects available are few and quite agreed ... we can always download in the "DirectZone" but the choice is very limited. Other greater regret the absence of text tool worthy of the name, except a mode "watermark" minimal or drawing, decorating or annotate photos ... really annoying having to export the work in other software to finish! In short: an effective tool to work quickly on photos and get a quality result but too limited in its functions to go far in the editing.
