JL at his best!

Since his first studio album, Get liftet, I'm a big fan of John Legend, which has an even greater fascination with his voice. Unfortunately, I was of his last studio album, Evolver (published in 2008), more or less disappointed. Thus, I have eagerly awaited the new material because I'm also a big fan of the Soul.

I have to say that John's studio album Once Again is his masterpiece so far. WAKE UP is the whole but pretty close. Johns unique voice combined with the typical Roots Groove that fits and gives a good mood while listening.

The whole concept of the album, in the untapped political moto fourth Soul pieces from the 60s and 70s were worked up new has hit the right note. It is surprising that none of these songs has lost its relevance. And even if it is all a bit more "modern" than the originals, you can feel the good old Urban Soul.
