I want to help in this way to all other interested parties at the election of a new refrigerator. Long I have scoured the internet and read customer reviews allemögliche. Preliminary it was clear to us that there should be a Bosch or Siemens device.
Again and again we encounter in searching the high noise that comes through the new technology about. This worried me, not least because we have a kitchen and the unit is in close proximity to our dining table.
After much research I then met by chance on the Bosch KGE39AI45. It was emphasized here that only 34 db specified airborne acoustical noise (compared to the KGE39AI40 has 38dB) that there convinced listed 11 customer opinions and with another provider, I found the combination at an acceptable price.
We have now the refrigerator for about a week. I was able to notice that the cooling when the device is opened, is turned on. It can be compared with a slight hum, but in no way interfere. Somewhere I read that the parts used were better insulated and thus contribute to a low-noise characteristics.
I can only confirm this definitely. Except for the hum there is definitely no gurgling or other disturbing noises. Just as the allersdings reads at the KGE39AI40 missing here the isolation and 4dB difference obviously make a lot of. Anyway, we are very satisfied with the fridge and are pleased that we chose the 45er. We had no desire to have available the equipment in the kitchen and determine only after power, that the crate is so loud, how many have written.
With regard to the difference of the Siemens unit:
- The Bosch refrigerator has transparent freezers
- The Simens has a no-frost function, the Bosch "only" a Lowfrost.
The delivery also proceeded without problems. I think that should take place about the same for all carriers. As for the structure and a door opening can be changed I can give the following type:
Carton tear and make a bottle or can at the front lower edge. Thus, the refrigerator is slightly inclined and it is possible to reach the lower fittings of the door. What is needed is a Torx 20, I used this a ratchet box, since the gap is just as large as the bottle or can. Those who have no suitable tools must tilt the box completely.
The rest is easy to manage with the help of the illustrated manual. I guess I was the cost for 15 minutes of my time.
I hope I have the one or other help with my experience in buying and building!
