The dimmer is very inexpensive and it actually well made. Make expensive devices sometimes not so sophisticated look. A hum does not appear to me. However, it often happens that the so-powered halogen spots (5 Series, parallel) can not be controlled completely shut. There then remains a Restglimmen. Remedy then creates only the removal of the plug for a few minutes. Then the spots remain also. Therefore only 3 stars.
