A classic - suitable also for professional demands - portrait lens with a large aperture and shallow depth of field at a super price. The lens is particularly suitable for the digital models of Nikon (elongation factor 1: 1.5) to recommend and with open aperture allows the exemption of the face in the light. The over-expenditure for a 1.4 / 85mm (Price 1300, - Euro) is worth considering the even lower vignetting and distortion compared to the more expensive lens (which in this anyway forces for dimming) for the same imaging performance hardly.
