PRO:
+ Does what it should, with no major positive or negative surprises.
+ All important functions can directly make use of the device. Using the remote control (slightly larger than a credit card format) to other settings can be made.
+ Radio is playing, the reception is Ok, + 20 stations can be saved as a preset.
+ So far I have had no problems reading CD even from USB sticks.
+ Takes MP3 in CBR and VBR, after activation indicates the MP3 tag on the display.
+ The reading of several hundred MP3 on USB is done in seconds.
+ Volume and sound ... well OK (decent sound but there are only ext. / Higher quality speakers!)
CON:
- The enclosed boxes sound like 5 Euro (thin and nasal) / (with higher quality speakers then OK).
- After turning off additional functions must (Equalizer Preset, ID3 tag, random) to be re-activated (no memory).
- After 1-2 years the symbol imprint tends to the remote control buttons to fade (the key-label itself is OK).
- No antenna input eg for cable radio installed (only FM wire antenna).
- Boxing connector designed as RCA (ugly when connecting external speakers.).
- The switch is located on the rear panel (ugly wall mounting).
RES:
Although the first device was broken after 2 years (output amplifier) I bought the plant again.
The defect was rather unlucky. Otherwise the system does generally satisfactory to good impression.
The CON can be get over. 3.5 stars from me for it.
