The menu performs a step-by-step through the installation, in about 6 increments the printer on a home network is installed via Wi-Fi. First, you decide whether you want to connect the printer via LAN or USB process method, where you logically for Lan decides. The next step is then selects Wireless. After that is done, the query as to whether you want to proceed via WPS method where you want to connect the printer and print each router on both devices a button. Or you choose the direct method, in which integrating the printer only via computer to Wi-Fi. Since I am rather something comfortable and wanted to run not quite up to the roof for Easy-Box, I signed up for the second-mentioned method chosen (both methods are explained in the menu), a button is held at the printer until it flashed and Zack was the printer Download the net with the driver it was all over in about five minutes! Really super easy!
When unpacking me first the shallow depth of the printer was positive in the eye, which is less than the A4 printer. In the further development it turned then but quickly discovered that it quickly passes through the summary of the paper output and input on a much broader depth.
A bit annoying, I find that the printer is out of paper tray below has under it, but the paper is inserted from above. Large sheets waves thereby quickly and I prefer to take back from the printer, if I do not need them and put them flat in the closet. On the other hand, a paper tray in A3 would of course again mean a larger footprint of the device. This allows the printer to accommodate even on narrow surfaces such as an Expedit Ikea.
The print quality and speed is as noted by Canon usual very good, here there is clearly nothing to complain about. Razor-sharp prints and outstanding color results on favorable paper. Canon continues to be for me, the number one printer manufacturers, even if, unfortunately, the original cartridges are astronomically expensive. Here the producer prices might like to correct something that is down.
