Happy like Ulysses ... 1

Having a passion for neuroscience, nothing that speaks of our brain is foreign to me ... But even for someone who does not share my passion, this book is a journey through time and knowledge.
THE CONTENTS
Mnemosyne (Greek name for the goddess of memory, which he presented a rare portrait imagined by Dante Gabriel Rossetti) to brain training programs, the book is divided into five main parts:
1 - Antiquity (eighth century BC to AD 430); 2 - Middle Ages and Renaissance (730 to 1584 AD.) 3 - Classicism and Light (the sixteenth to the eighteenth century); 4 - The nineteenth century; 5 - The twentieth century.
This journey through time takes us through legends and centuries and subtly put in their respective places, scientific theories and knowledge legends. I breathed a sigh of relief seeing as effective as concise description of the slip process, with an illuminating perspective on between theory, assumptions and science.
Each chapter in the great parts is written in clear terms that allow the need to go directly to a question that interests us, for example: "The multiplicity of memory" or "Magical memory systems," "The first Censorship phonetic processes of the Sun King "," Storing numbers and dates "," Phonetic processes of memory ".!; "Odor memory"; "The word on the tip of the tongue"; "Right Brain and ideographic writing" ... etc. The book is written in everyday language to be read by non-specialists. Finally, the bibliography is a joy to deepen some aspect that would have given thirst to learn more ...

CONTAINER
When I have a choice, one of my dramas is how to choose among objects and books about books strictly to determine if I order in Kindle format or on paper, knowing that my shelves are overflowing and that I can not rule out the walls of my little house.
