this review refers to the connecting terminal Wago 222-413 If you google for "Wago sheet 222" you will find a PDF that detailed information has to WAGO terminals (including this one). The most important ones:
* On the last number called 222-413 you can see the number of terminals (here 3).
* There are cable with 0.08 to 4 mm diameter supported (himself tried to 0.75).
* You can or stranded wire (without wire sleeve) pinch.
Benefits:
* The clamped wires are easy to pull out by raising the lever again, the cables remain undamaged at this terminal. Also shove the cable is very easy. The lever locked in the open and in the closed position.
* Compared to screw there are further advantages: Screw should be serviced regularly (tightened, the terminals are maintenance-free.
* Screw terminals are not protected against contact and may cause short circuits.
Disadvantages:
This terminal is very large and therefore good to use only in deep installation boxes. They often suffer from space problems.
Conclusion:
For normal home installation (rigid cable, 2mm or 4mm) I recommend the simple plug-in terminals. You need at the house installation less space and if you often back to the can has to work the fine. That way, there is also Wago eg under number 2273-203.
For all installations with enough space or flexible cables (stranded) or cables with small cross-section, I recommend these terminals (eg for the connection of low-voltage - LED spots).
Screw I would not use if it can somehow be avoided.
