Mireille Mathieu property has the right to leave his old recordings, too few besides for his admirers, while her sisters (Sheila, Sylvie Vartan, Dalida, Nana Mouskouri, etc ...) out of the integral and compilations of all sorts for over ten years. This box is, in this case, a marvel: it gathers in December 1967 out of Olympia at the time in 33 tours around the world, and the December 1969, never released before. The packaging is very successful (reproduction of multiple pockets worldwide 1 Olympia, Aslan and drawings adorning the studio album released at the time of the second Olympia). But it is of course the songs performed by Mireille interested primarily its audience: If "My credo", "The Last Waltz", "angry Paris" is already indispensable in the era of his singing tour, we rediscover it also some wonderful forgotten titles like "Who will love me", "Listen cry", "A lost heart", "Ma Pomme" (Maurice Chevalier), "My boyfriend Pierrot" or "When will he day, comrade? " on the first CD, and other equally successful on the second "Blue Waltz", "Blind" (Mireille regularly performs on stage), "Love in Paris" (taken at the Olympia 2014), "Living for you", "The song of my happiness", to name just some of them. The voice of Mireille, very well highlighted by clean and tidy orchestrations, is both powerful, expressive and moving. Remastering of these records is itself simply outstanding.
This set is therefore, in my view, and due respect to the naysayers with two balls, a gem and a very fine object.
