Have I decided after long hours looking for this Blu-ray player (BDP3200 Philips) and am completely satisfied with the player's bottom line.

Positives:
+ Very quiet in operation (virtually inaudible)
+ Good optics
+ Good workmanship
+ Price / Performance: Class! (I paid just under 80)

Negatives:
- Longer charging time at startup: Takes about 1-2 minutes (but bothers me little)
- Remote Control: Reacts partly only after repeated pressing (Distance to player about 2 meters)
- High-frequency beep in idle mode: Really only in standby. Audible and even from certain head positions. I got used simply to pull the plug if I do not use the player. So bothers me also not ... otherwise it would be really annoying but.
