Have the intent of my Nikon P7000 tried after receipt, and lo and behold, he jammed when mounting and tightening. Gently rotate upward, it cracks neatly, but then he suddenly went very easily into the lock. Now he sits at the camera and shakes quite well. So bigger supplementary lenses to couple (eg Tele), for which he was intended, it is not suitable! I could no more than a few light filter 58 mm, or my Cokin system adapt. I'm a bit of grind with the Dremel at the reception, so that it fits better: no use otherwise for my purposes. Shame!!
