"The worried man" represents a novel to share in the work of H. MANKELL. The author invites us to separate ourselves from Kurt Wallander, to say goodbye and I must say that it is painful. The story, based on acts of espionage, is clever and subtly demonstrates manipulation operated by the major powers, particularly the USA. Manipulations and pretense made possible by a Swedish disinterest in his own story. Kurt is therefore involved in an investigation into the disappearance of the father-and mother-daughter LInda. this survey will lead on the unfrequented paths by him but which his sense of the word deduction unveil her end of the story. He will meet the most dreaded disease of all, that will make him a worried man ... and definitely missing our readings. Thank you to Kurt for inspiring MANKELL !!!
