Things become clearer. They had left the warriors of silence in deep trouble: Tixu had disappeared, 4 others had been captured and cryogenically. Therefore remained Shari and the little Jek, his new apprentice. Three years have passed between the end of the second volume and the beginning of the third. Jek has almost completed his training. I must say that its evolution is that I was most pleasantly surprised. In Volume 2, he got out of the miracle business. Here, skills and intellect finally taken into account. In general, the author less use of deus ex machina to get out of trouble his characters, and it's a relief for this final.
The subplots asked in the first volumes finally meet, new characters, well drawn, are emerging. Tension rises crescendo, but alas, that plop in the end. To my taste, the end comes too quickly, so a little easier. I had the feeling that 10 pages was settled. After 1500 beautiful pages, I found the somewhat bitter pill.
Despite this, I will keep an excellent memory of this trilogy. There were a few hollow, yes, but also very intense moments, beautiful storytelling and inventive imagination.
