Lost 4 stars because of bloatware

Today, reports of "Superfish" went through the media. And yes, on this laptop was installed and active Superfish.

The unit itself gets full 5 points in terms of hardware, built components, processing quality and speed. Although the display does not come close to the brilliance of IPS displays, but is also not that bad as described in some other reviews. The display quality is quite within the range of what you can expect for this price.

But ...

In addition to Windows 8.1 a number of other software installed that develops after a short time a life of its own. To my surprise, a lot of software is, which is normally in the category "malware" to classify. There are an ominous optimization and repair tools foisted who want a misled with false error messages for alleged system problems to install additional "tools" (upon payment of some euro also like in a "Pro" version), games collections in a variety of toolbars Internet Explorer and other browsers inserts.
The super great McAffee Internet protection package that is pre-installed for several months full-featured, the other malicious programs made by undisturbed. But only at the margins.

The highlight is a protection software to keep a while browsing the Internet from harm. This brings this software the browser to crash after a short time, you can not do much wrong on the Internet.

During the lunch break, I was allowed to stand turned the notebook. After an hour, the screen was covered with advertising, error messages and also a few pictorial representations that do not normally permit the lodging of the instrument to anyone under 18 years.

And no: After the first time you turn the device no other software was installed from possibly dubious sources and the Internet connection here is also relatively well protected against attacks from outside.

Much "fun" comes on when you want to remove the "extra" software. The uninstallers are indeed to be found in its usual place, but have the audacity to want to load additional software. Without knowledge and patience the case at this point would be permanently contaminated.

Now you could argue that you can reinstall loose time with a fresh Windows such a device also. Nevertheless: A notebook, the "fresh from the store" shortly after power thanks to pre-installed additional software immediately dismantled itself, should not be sold - and not get a single star.

There can not be a mistake also. We ordered 2 pieces of this notebook, and both were equally furnished.

Lenovo actually offers wonderful technique. The technique is also on this machine in this price range at its best. But with the additional software Lenovo has and its customers shot in the knee.

After all: For serious hobbyists an ideal device, which should be immediately supplied with a fresh operating system out of the box.
