Start me up - 2009 Remaster

1981 pulled the Stones after 3 years on tour again, but since they did not have enough time for a new album, they left a sound technician old outtakes for useable scour, which they then sent revamped (with guitar and vocals and saxophone solos) and to 2, 3 new titles supplemented. The funny part of it is that with this little promising method one of the best and zusammenhängendsten Stones albums for a long time came out; Curiously, it sounds like a unified whole, and fortunately again much warmer than its two predecessors; not once I thought while listening to: "Well, the album sounds but pieced together!", not even when I read them later. Just over half of the songs played the Stones on their subsequent tour.

Similar to the live album "Still Life" a year later also arouses "Tattoo You" all year round summer feelings with me. Angrily I find only that neither record nor CD Instrumentation information can be found (the LP was, after a lyric sheet attached); and that we are dealing with another Stones cover which again only shows Mick Jagger and Keith on the back (as on "Goat's Head Soup") ... I can not understand why a band from Format of the Rolling Stones apparently believes continued to have so often present their singers as the sole sale seminal figurehead.

For the '94 remastered CD one to 1.5 minutes longer, uncut version of Slave was used which each contain an additional SAX and a guitar solo, as well for the new remaster of 2009, which has been compressed more than the previous edition; a tonal value, I can barely make out, only Waiting on a Friend here sounds a little further forward. Unfortunately, the Spartan Design was acquired by '94 Again, that has saved time again photos, text inserts and cast information.
