The Bresser 10x25 was slightly better, but not much. In short: "Not quite as bad". Also low-contrast image, difficult to focus on. Edge blurred. No purchase recommendation!
Up to this point you have to say that it is 20 and 30 euros to FGs betw., Or so. It shows! As children's toys ok, but we look now times by Nikon!
The Nikon 10x25 Aculon has a very clear, bright and high-contrast image. Sharp virtually to the edge. The difference compared to the other two FGs similar to comparison of the gaze through a dust and flying dirt dirty window (Hama, Bresser) and by a clean cleaned window (Nikon). The difference is enormous and I was very impressed!

Handling and focus
--------------------------------
(Both cheap I will not describe further from here.)
Handling of Nikon: Excellent! Nothing presses against the nose, neither own fingers still the eyepieces (something I can not stand!), The focus actuator can be operated simultaneously from the top with the middle finger and below the thumb, so very safe and Hard! The position of the actuating drive is just right. One always does not embrace him on the fingers, to focus. Everything thought through ergonomically. The actuator running tired and sluggish, which means you can clean drive up to the point of focus and "passes over" him not, as with the other two, which seem somehow never to be "really hot". The focus point is also to be found clearly in Nikon because the FG at the point of focus is actually sharp!

Enlargement
----------------
The magnification is just right. The FG is so sharp that you can actually see more details, therefore perceives as through the 12x25 Hama. If one sums it up close to the eyepieces and inspired the finger to his forehead, you can also keep it nice and quiet.

Price
------
I did me hard at first, more than 30, - to issue a "backpack binoculars". It can be lost, it can be damaged in rough handling of the backpack ... put more than 30 euros for risk? But now I have personally experienced that just as a cheap FG would a waste of money. For about 70 euros you get with the Nikon 10x25 Aculon an impressive optical performance, which is really worth the money and the one always have joy and will never regret buying! (The just under 30 euros for Hama is one regret, however, almost certainly ... if someday looking through a better binoculars and see how may be "nice" looking through a FG!)

Criticism?
--------
With 275g weight Aculon is no lightweight in its class. But for solidly built. The weight is thus the robustness due and therefore no point of criticism.
The field of view is really a bit thin with 87m / 1000m. 96m or 101m would be desirable. So that's the only real point of criticism.

Conclusion:
-------
For the price the Aculon basically can not be beat. Its superior optical performance, ergonomic handling. It is, thanks to two fold-axes, even minimal folded. Full five stars!
