"Absolutly right" is fresh, cheeky and good danceable - a catchy summer with hit potential. A in a positive way for Dieter Bohlen absolutely atypical song deductions there only for the lyrics.
The following "Do not think about me" is the weakest song on the album, which has been so rightly criticized as a very poor choice for the final song for me.
I personally like "Goodnight Maria" best - a cool intro, good beat and a total of a song that well emphasizes the sympathetic-snotty rock in his voice. Very catchy, like "terror in my heart".
In the slower original songs which expresses itself to my mind "Bohlen handwriting" more by than in the rockier and faster - in "If your lonely" the bonds of "Father and Son" by Cat Stevens are so unmistakably that you look at a more ambitious Work Of Songwriters would here particularly desired.
Nevertheless, one must even in this song say it always comes across that there is "Somebody in there" - is to say: The voice conveys that there is someone with a private head, a private reference for music and desire to own expression at home. By combining vitality, rowdiness, Power and a little "at the edge" voltage voice makes all songs fun, although I generally think: The boy is more of a limelight as a studio singer. (I think on stage, he is "a bank", which guarantees for successful concerts.)
So the cover songs "Oh Johnny" and "Cello" was really better on stage. Nevertheless, both good and especially "Cello" shows what needs to be in a really good love song capable of singers. Very good (also in relation to the live performances) I like the version of "Knocking on Heaven's Door" - especially since the melancholy of the song comes to bear. And "Forgive Forget" is similar to the stage one of the highlights of the CD.
While the cover songs of content all go very well with him - particularly "Forgive Forget" and "Oh Johnny" the lyrics of "the Didda" act like always very arbitrarily. Musically I was however pleasantly surprised just of the faster songs.
I really wish the young singers from all my heart that he can work again with another producer who allows him more, its history and its vision to tell the music to the world. After all - what I really find amazing considering the age: To say what has the boy. And I'd also like to find more in his songs.
Nevertheless, it is worth buying. Even if this time was re-knit the album with very hot needle and compositionally because inevitably some fall by the wayside: It's great fun to hear how the singers the songs are his individual coloring and thus manages to touch at least me (although I really do not belong to the teen audience).
Therefore, despite "Didda deductions": thumb for the singer and the CD up!
