Of course if there is a Santa Claus in this story, it is very different Santa Claus Coca Cola business, but more realistic, Mr. Merlin is a generous person who wants to please free without expecting anything in return, and its disappearance the mystery and leaves free rein to our interpretation. This book speaks of Christmas as a time of generosity, the gift to another, at the risk of sacrificing his favorite toy. It is not stupidly getting tons of gifts to say thank you because it is Santa Claus who brought them. These values I think are important in our society that overflows consommation.Et our little much needed from time to time to hear something else. Then the book is well done, large drawings with little text per page, simple language and well-turned phrases.
